Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced EHC/EHCP Case Coordinator to manage Education, Health and Care Plans, ensuring high-quality plans and compliance with statutory requirements. You will collaborate with families, schools, settings, and professionals to secure the right support for children and young people.

You will draft and amend EHCPs, support annual reviews, and maintain accurate records, while managing a busy caseload with strong communication and independent work style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in EHC/EHCP coordination, SEND Case Officer, or similar.
• Strong drafting and amendment skills for EHCPs.
• Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience working within statutory SEND timelines.
• Strong communication and caseload management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drafting new EHCPs to high standards within statutory timescales.
• Amending EHCPs, including transfers and key stage changes.
• Processing annual reviews and updating or ceasing plans as needed.
• Supporting EHC Needs Assessments and family conversations.
• Ensuring parent, child and young person views are reflected in plans.
• Consulting with educational settings per parental preference and needs.
• Attending annual reviews, SEND meetings and panels as required.
• Responding to queries from families and settings.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating local authority systems.
