Job summary

Paddle is seeking a Remote Director of Self-Serve to own and scale a self-serve revenue line. You will lead a small team including engineering, design and data, building experimentation, tooling, and tracking to improve activation and conversion using AI where it adds velocity and quality.

The role requires deep PLG/self-serve experience in a high-growth tech company, with a track record of owning funnel metrics and driving revenue.

• Experience running structured discovery and experimentation, not relying on marketing levers
• Deep PLG or self-serve motion experience in high-growth tech, owning a revenue line
• Able to stress-test numbers to identify real drivers, not convenient explanations

The Remote Director of Self Serve role centres on operating with a small, focused team including engineering capacity.

North and serve over 10, 000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

Where you'll lead

• We're hiring a Director of Self-Serve to take full commercial ownership of Paddle's self-serve motion, running and scaling it as a business line
• Design and run the experimentation, tooling, and tracking to improve funnel codification, time-to-value, activation, and conversion using AI where it raises velocity and quality, applied to the right customer
• Record for our customers
• Deeply experienced in a PLG or self-serve motion in a high-growth tech business, where you've built and owned the funnel rather than a sales-assisted or enterprise motion, and have been accountable for the number, not adjacent to it
