Job summary

Spinwell Ltd is recruiting a Digital Portfolio Manager for a 3-month contract across hybrid locations in London, Bristol or Manchester. The role emphasizes governance, reporting and portfolio oversight, with a strong focus on Jira and management information delivery.

You will support senior leaders, manage dependencies, forecasts and budgets, and develop executive dashboards to demonstrate progress against strategic objectives, while enabling cross-disciplinary teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex programme or portfolio environments.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments while maintaining delivery focus.
• Experience embedding portfolio management processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Have sound knowledge and experience of using tracking software, particularly Jira, and understand operational delivery, governance and reporting.
• Support central mission to provide people across the public sector with skills, tools, guidance and knowledge to build better public services.
• Play a key role in supporting team delivery, embedding tracking, and reporting to central PMO across multiple disciplines.
• Establish and maintain portfolio governance, reporting and MI processes with accurate insights for monthly, quarterly and annual planning.
• Support Senior Managers to prioritise work, manage dependencies, identify critical paths and balance resources across a portfolio of complex digital initiatives.
• Provide portfolio assurance and performance oversight, identifying risks and issues and supporting senior leaders in decisions.
• Manage portfolio financial activities including forecasting, budget monitoring, spend reporting and value for money assessments in collaboration with Finance and Commercial teams.
• Develop executive dashboards, reporting and portfolio insights to demonstrate progress against strategic objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and successful delivery by strengthening ways of working and building relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
