Job summary
The Adaptavist Group is seeking a Sales Specialist – DevOps & Developer Experience to help UK customers modernise how software is planned, built, secured, deployed and operated. This remote-first role focuses on Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and AI-enabled software delivery across UK&I.
You will engage CIOs and engineering leaders, run discovery workshops, build business cases, and lead complex engagements with MEDDPICC methodology to drive measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience selling enterprise software, consulting or transformation solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Developer Experience, DevOps and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience leading executive-level discovery conversations, workshops and strategic customer engagements.
- Experience applying structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
Responsibilities
- Engage with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Engineering and other senior stakeholders to understand priorities and challenges in software delivery.
- Lead discovery workshops and maturity assessments to identify DevOps and productivity opportunities.
- Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases and value-based recommendations for customers.
- Own specialist sales opportunities from qualification to closure and coordinate internal resources to deliver solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and craft compelling proposals to drive customer outcomes.
