Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Data Product Analyst to join our IT team on a two-year fixed term contract. You will lead the design, development and delivery of data products that deliver actionable insights to help the organisation make informed decisions.

Based primarily at home, with occasional travel to Worcester/Solihull offices, you will work in an Agile environment using Power BI, Synapse and Fabric, leveraging DAX, SQL and Python to build dashboards and data models that support

Qualifications

• Experience in data quality, data analysis, or data governance.
• Designing and implementing data products using Power BI, Synapse, and DAX.
• Knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
• Identify issues and risks within BI development activities and escalate appropriately.
• Ability to extract, manipulate, visualize, and model large datasets.
• Lead analytics projects and influence decision‑making at a level.
• Experience with consumer‑level data for analysis, reporting, or marketing.
• Creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualisations for stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques and Python is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and delivery of data products delivering actionable insights.
• Work across the full lifecycle of data product development from requirements to delivery and support.
• Operate in an Agile environment with iterative delivery.
• Foster a data‑driven culture using Power BI, Synapse, Fabric and languages including DAX, SQL and Python.
• Communicate insights and findings to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
