Job summary

Dains in Birmingham seeks a Data Engineer to join the Data Team and help build, operate and evolve the Group's Azure-based Data Platform. You will integrate new data sources, develop pipelines and contribute to cloud data architecture.

You will work on acquisitions, system implementations, and platform enhancements to support reporting, analytics, automation and AI, collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Data Engineer role with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python development for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with Azure data technologies and data modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead data source integrations into the DataCube platform.
• Develop, monitor and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and data quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable reporting, analytics and AI initiatives.
• Support deployment and release across development and production environments.
• Ensure platform security and performance with IT teams.
