Job summary

Carrington Recruitment Solutions seeks a Data Engineering Consultant to join a fast-growing professional services firm in the City of London. The role blends data engineering, analytics and AI tooling across client engagements, with office presence about four days per week and UK-wide travel.

You will work with FS clients on data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI and Fabric, delivering practical analytics while navigating regulatory governance and data controls.

Qualifications

• Extensive Data Engineering experience as a Consultant – ideally Big 4 or top firms.
• Experience with Financial Services clients and regulatory expectations (FCA/PRA).
• Exposure to data platforms and AI tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and AI governance, model risk management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data engineering and AI analytics solutions for client engagements.
• Scope, deliver, and report on internal audits and analytics initiatives.
• Present conclusions to stakeholders and drive data-driven decisions.
