Job summary

Michael Page Finance client in Derbyshire is seeking a Credit Controller for an immediate start. The role is based in central Derby but offers remote/hybrid options, with an hourly pay rate between £14 and £17 depending on experience.

You will manage credit control activities, review balances, maintain records, investigate discrepancies, and liaise with the Accounting & Finance team to resolve payment issues. The assignment is temporary, with potential for extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience of credit control and managing outstanding customer balances.
• The ability to maintain accurate financial records and payment information.
• Confidence investigating account queries and discrepancies.
• A clear and professional approach to communicating with customers.
• Good attention to detail when updating finance systems and records.
• The ability to organise tasks effectively within a temporary Credit Controller role.
