A healthcare provider is seeking Remote Counsellors/Psychotherapists to deliver quality therapy from home. This role involves providing impactful counselling to clients, participating in a supportive team environment, and maintaining high professional standards in mental health care. The position is flexible, allowing for full-time or part-time engagements.
Remote Counsellor / Psychotherapist
Location: Remote – UK Based
Hours: Full-time or part-time considered - must be able to do a minimum of 3 evening sessions per month

We’re working in partnership with one of our trusted clinics who are expanding their mental health team. We are looking for qualified, accredited Counsellors or Psychotherapists who are passionate about delivering safe, effective, and high-quality therapy – all remotely.

ou'll be supporting clients across short, medium, or longer-term sessions, depending on their needs, and working both independently and as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team. The role will also involve regular liaison with internal teams, external services, and safeguarding agencies when needed.

Consultations take place online, at home or in a clinic with a GPDQ vetted GMC-registered NHS GP or highly skilled multidisciplinary team member.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote therapy (via phone or video) to adult clients, delivering impactful counselling and brief interventions
Carry out thorough clinical assessments and develop evidence-based formulations to guide care planning
Tailor your approach based on each client’s needs and session allowance
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and operational team
Offer one-off assessments, wellbeing coaching, signposting, or referrals as appropriate
Contribute to group sessions, workshops or wellbeing presentations (virtually) as and when required
Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to relevant case management procedures
Attend regular supervision, reflective practice, and team meetings
Support ongoing service improvement by sharing feedback and insights
What We’re Looking For
Essential
BACP or NCS Accredited Membership
Minimum of 450 supervised counselling hours
3+ years’ full-time post-qualification experience
Desirable
Training in incident or crisis support
Experience working in corporate or workplace settings
Skills & Experience
Strong clinical grounding in general adult mental health
Comfortable using digital tools and EMR systems
Excellent written and verbal communication
Confident managing your own caseload, diary and utilisation targets
Warm, client-focused and compassionate with a flexible approach
A team player with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Professional, proactive and organised with strong time management
Experience delivering therapy remotely or in a hybrid setting
