Job description

Conveyancing Fee Earner – Residential Property – Remote Working (UK)

An established and highly regarded residential conveyancing team is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to support its continued growth. This is a fully home-based role, offering flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to handle a varied caseload as part of a supportive and forward-thinking legal team.

This opportunity is ideal for a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Conveyancer who is confident managing their own files and committed to delivering excellent client service.

The Role

You will manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion. Matters will include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. You’ll liaise directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from start to finish
  • Review contracts, title documents, searches, and other legal paperwork
  • Prepare and finalise contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation
  • Maintain regular and professional communication with clients and third parties
  • Oversee the conveyancing process from instruction to exchange, completion, and registration
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Conveyancer
  • Proven track record of managing a busy residential property caseload independently
  • Strong understanding of UK property law and the full conveyancing process
  • Proficient in using Land Registry services and online search platforms
  • Accreditation with the Law Society, Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) or similar body (preferred but not essential)
