18 Week Support is seeking experienced Consultant Dermatologists to support NHS Tele-Derm services, enabling remote reviews of referrals and images and timely specialist assessments.

This is flexible, remote work that fits around existing commitments, with dedicated administrative and clinical support and a well-organised digital workflow.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with Specialist Register accreditation in Dermatology.
• Experience as Consultant Dermatologist within the NHS.
• Experience reviewing dermatology referrals and clinical images.
• Ability to work autonomously with a remote workload.
• Indemnity cover for Tele-Derm work.

Responsibilities

• Review dermatology referrals and clinical photographs remotely.
• Assess and interpret clinical information and images to support diagnosis and management.
• Provide appropriate clinical advice and recommendations based on the information provided.
• Identify patients who require further face-to-face assessment, investigation or treatment.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting.
• Work in line with NHS clinical pathways, governance and patient safety requirements.
