Job summary

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is inviting applications for a Community Fundraising Manager. This home-based role involves travel across Dundee, Fife, Perth & Kinross, Angus and Aberdeenshire to deliver the Community Fundraising strategy and grow income and engagement in the designated region.

You will recruit and support volunteers, coordinate fundraising activities and promote our life-changing work while maintaining a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire and engage diverse groups.
• Strong relationship management skills to motivate volunteers and supporters.
• Experience in community fundraising or voluntary sector work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sustainable volunteer management structure across the region.
• Recruit and support local speakers to promote campaigns and thank supporters.
• Lead and deploy fundraising initiatives and activities in the region.
• Drive business development within the fundraising strategy.
