Tamworth Borough Council is seeking a Communications Officer to join the Corporate Services, Communications team. The role focuses on creating clear content for the council’s website, social media, newsletters and staff communications, and supporting media activity through draft press releases and statements.

You will produce photographs and video content and help deliver communications campaigns, events and internal communications, using insights to measure impact and continuously improve

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Strong plain English writing skills.
• Experience with social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
