Bury Council is seeking a proactive Communications & Media Officer for a 5-month contract. You will craft engaging content for social media, websites and internal channels, manage media enquiries and support a wide range of council projects from regeneration to community initiatives.

Work across Corporate Affairs and Communications to tell compelling stories, build stakeholder relationships and deliver integrated campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Communications & Media Officer

Bury Council 5-month Contract £16.25 per hour

Bury is changing. New community facilities are opening, major regeneration projects are taking shape, and services across the borough are delivering real impact for residents every day.

Bury Council are looking for a creative, energetic and proactive Communications & Media Officer to help tell those stories.

As part of our Corporate Affairs and Communications team, you'll work across a broad range of projects including internal communications, corporate campaigns, regeneration programmes, community initiatives, housing projects, children's services, staff engagement activity and much more.

What you'll be doing
