Job summary

Arden University is seeking an IT Security Engineer (GCP) to strengthen our cloud security and AI workload protections. You will implement security controls, design new security technologies, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Your focus will be securing Arden’s GCP environment, protecting data and models, and aligning telemetry with Microsoft Sentinel for proactive monitoring and response.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering and incident response experience.
• Strong in securing Google Cloud Platform and AI workloads.
• Experience integrating GCP logs with Microsoft Sentinel for IR.
• Familiar with PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials guidelines.
• Knowledge of IAM, SSO, data protection and encryption strategies.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen Arden's information security posture through technical controls.
• Design, configure and administer security tools across GCP and on‑premise.
• Secure Google Cloud Platform environments and agentic AI workloads.
• Integrate GCP telemetry with Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring and IR.
