Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent clinical laboratory experience.
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience in a clinical setting or regulated environment.
• MT (ASCP) certification – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily departmental performance and allocate resources.
• Hire, coach and develop direct reports with role definitions and performance reviews.
• Coordinate testing requirements and pricing documents for proposals.
• Provide scientific/technical information to compile client RFPs/RFIs and respond to inquiries.
• Lead cross-functional process improvements to optimize operations.
• Maintain relationships with referral laboratories and ensure timely study support.
