Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking experienced clinicians to join as Clinical AI Strategists, shaping trustworthy AI in clinical content and decision support. You will work with Clinical AI, Product, Engineering, Editorial, and Business Development to improve solutions and support their deployment with strategic partners and customers.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, PharmD or equivalent clinical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice with breadth in research, education, safety, quality, informatics, or publishing.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based medicine and clinical decision making.
• Experience in clinical research or outcomes research and study design.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Strong cross-functional experience across clinical, product, business, technical, and research teams.
• Familiarity with generative AI and its healthcare applications.
• Experience in product, digital health, clinical technology, business development, or partnerships is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in complex clinical initiatives.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration; adaptability to evolving tech and business needs.
• Active clinical practice preferred; board certification preferred.
• Valid medical license in at least one US state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on cross-functional teams to design and refine clinical AI systems and decision support.
• Contribute clinical expertise to reasoning frameworks and evaluation approaches reflecting real-world care.
• Lead clinical validation activities, safety evaluation, and expert testing for accuracy and relevance.
• Translate feedback from clinicians, customers, and partners into system improvements with Product, Engineering, Editorial and Clinical AI teams.
• Monitor developments in clinical AI, evidence-based medicine, and regulatory contexts relevant to trustworthy AI.
• Review partner/customer implementations from a clinical perspective and contribute to approvals and sign-offs.
• Design and conduct clinical outcomes studies evaluating integration of Wolters Kluwer solutions into workflows.
• Represent Wolters Kluwer in clinical thought leadership activities, conferences, and client engagements.
