Job summary

Cross Rental Services is seeking a dedicated Chiller Engineer to join the Commercial Customer Services team. This field-based role covers Oxfordshire & Hampshire and involves installing, servicing, and maintaining temporary hire equipment across customer sites.

You’ll respond to emergencies, drive customer satisfaction, and report to the Southern Customer Services Manager from the Andover depot. A strong refrigeration background and F-Gas qualification are important for progression.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence is essential.
CSCS Card is required.
MOD Clearance and site experience are advantageous.
Experience in the HVAC hire industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and IT literacy are expected.

Responsibilities

Install chillers in line with RAMS.
Repair stock on customer sites and attend service breakdowns promptly.
Assist in developing associated products to meet customer needs.
Order stock for stores and vans to minimise downtime and ensure vital parts availability.
Identify operational improvements to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
Ensure full compliance with company systems, procedures and health & safety regulations.
Promote a safety-focused culture and lead by example.
Undertake additional tasks to support the team.
Travel to customer sites; field-based with depot base at Andover.
Maintain good customer relations and professional representation.
