Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD specialist to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.

The project is remote freelance work with flexible hours, roughly 10–20 hours per week during active phases. Compensation goes up to $36 per hour, with performance-based bonuses and exposure to global platform projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Verification and validation: mesh-independence studies and benchmarking against experiments.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks.
• Take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, and build verified reference solutions.
• Write Python checks for the agent's results and contribute to platform-wide quality controls.
