Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join the Triaging Team in Dorset, UK. The role offers predominantly remote work with occasional site visits, standard Monday–Friday hours, and a competitive hourly rate of £26.00.

This ongoing full-time position requires substantial CAMHS experience and professional registration. You will assess, triage, and plan early interventions within the CAMHS pathway while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• CAMHS experience or similar mental health experience in children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Conduct brief assessments and triage evaluations for children and young people seeking mental health support.
• Complete initial mental health assessments to identify presenting concerns, risks and support needs.
• Develop targeted treatment recommendations and intervention plans.
• Deliver early interventions and support within the CAMHS pathway.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Manage referrals and signpost to services where required.
• Monitor outcomes and adapt recommendations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with CAMHS practices, guidance and legislation.
