Job summary

Howden UK Brokers Limited is hiring a Software Engineer for a remote-first role with monthly face-to-face meetings in Gloucester or London. You will use C#, .NET, Blazor, APIs and Azure to build scalable front-end applications and contribute to the team’s roadmap.

You’ll work in an agile environment, participate in design reviews, and mentor colleagues while driving best practices and high-quality code across the project.

Qualifications

• Experience developing object-oriented software using C# and .NET (.NET 8 or later).
• Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end applications using C#, Blazor and Azure-based services.
• Participate in regular agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams to deliver roadmaps.
• Coach and mentor less experienced engineers to raise engineering standards.
• Contribute to architectural and technical designs and share them with the team.
