Job summary

Howden is seeking a Software Engineer to join an agile team and help build scalable front-end applications using C#, .NET 8+ and Blazor. You will work primarily remote, with monthly face-to-face meetings in London or Gloucester as needed.

You will mentor peers, drive quality through TDD and CI/CD, and collaborate on architectural decisions with product owners and tech leads. Strong communication and security-aware delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in object-oriented C#/.NET (8+) and SOLID principles.
• Building modern scalable apps with Microsoft tech, Azure, Blazor, APIs.
• Commitment to testing, maintainable code and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end/back-end using C#, .NET 8+ and Blazor within Agile teams.
• Collaborate with product owners; contribute to architecture decisions.
• Mentor juniors; promote quality, testing and observable systems.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines; ensure secure, reliable software delivery.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and refine technical designs.
