Job summary

Jefferies International’s Middle Office Development team is seeking a skilled C# Developer with a strong data focus. You will design and build interfaces for data flow, working on feeds to a vendor Saas platform.

You will contribute to automation and data integrity in large datasets, with Python and C# across agile teams. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in financial services, solid API integration experience, and familiarity with messaging queues and networking.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with SQL and large datasets.
Kafka, Redis, GridGain and SingleStore or similar.
Proven expertise in building applications and integrating with API platforms using C#.
Experience in Agile environments; familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps.
Deep expertise with Python, C#, Kafka.
Experience with message queues like IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ.
Familiarity with networking and firewalls.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality code to address bug fixes, system enhancements, and new features; provide documentation.
Develop solutions and automation using Python and C#; ensure data integrity across pipelines.
Collaborate in an Agile environment; participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Understand data flows; design interfaces for data movement and migrate/integrate platforms.
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance; document technical specifications.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
