Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a BIM Modeller to support a rail infrastructure project based at Liverpool Baltic Station. This contract role offers remote working and requires strong BIM capability, with proficiency in MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer (OBD).

You will produce and maintain accurate BIM models and technical drawings, coordinate model delivery with engineers and project teams, interpret technical information, and ensure compliance with BIM standards and project procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BIM Modeller in rail, engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Solid understanding of BIM processes and information management.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer (OBD).
• Ability to produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of rail design, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and information management.

Responsibilities

• Producing and maintaining accurate BIM models and technical drawings for rail infrastructure works.
• Using MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) to develop and update project information.
• Collaborating with engineers, designers and project teams to coordinate model delivery.
• Interpreting technical information, drawings and project requirements.
• Ensuring models and documentation comply with BIM standards and procedures.
• Supporting the coordination, review and resolution of design information.
