Job summary

Scrumconnect seeks an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate large-scale cloud infrastructure in a multi-environment setup. You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage Lambda-based services, and support Kafka-based event-driven integrations within secure, scalable architectures.

Work includes implementing secure networking, API gateway management, and FinOps tagging, with collaboration across developers, architects, testers, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple environments within AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Experience supporting modern architectures (React front-end, microservices, Lambda, event-driven with Kafka).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of AWS networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Experience administering IAM, MFA, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and manage multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure for React front-end, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka integrations.
• Support ETL and RPA integration efforts.
• Implement secure networking patterns and API gateway (Kong Enterprise).
• Enforce FinOps tagging standards and governance.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployments; contribute to cloud security practices.
