Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer II for the Falcon Complete MDR team. You will scale security operations through automation and AI, building SOAR playbooks and AI-powered workflows.

You’ll develop PowerShell and Python solutions, integrate REST APIs, and validate workflows to improve analyst efficiency and detection capabilities. This role is remote in the UK/Ireland and offers extensive automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automation, scripting, or cybersecurity
• Proficiency with PowerShell for security tasks
• Python for automation and API integration
• Experience with SOAR platforms to build security workflows
• REST API integration including authentication and response handling
• JSON data parsing and Regular Expressions
• Experience with SIEM query languages and security analytics
• Familiarity with event-driven automation and webhook patterns
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript scripting in automation tools
• Version control experience (Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain security automation workflows and playbooks in SOAR
• Develop PowerShell and Python scripts for enrichment, remediation, and forensic tasks
• Integrate SIEM queries into automated workflows for investigations
• Create AI-powered workflows and API integrations within pipelines
• Validate workflows end-to-end before production deployment
• Collaborate with SOC, engineering and leadership teams
• Stay current with SOAR, automation and AI technologies
