  • Maintain project documentation including contracts, permits, and daily logs.
  • Review site documentation to ensure project compliance.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, field crews, and vendors.

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,500 USD/month paid via direct transfer

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm Central Time

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support their project management team in overseeing commercial roofing projects from start to finish. The APM will play a critical role in coordinating schedules, managing documentation, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining communication between clients, crews, and vendors. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a desire to grow within the construction and roofing industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing commercial roofing projects
  • Coordinate material orders, deliveries, subcontractor activities, and our team
  • Track project budgets, expenses, and change orders
  • Maintain project documentation including contracts, permits, and daily logs
  • Review site documentation to ensure project compliance
  • Work with the team to identify, review, bid, and plan projects with full lifecycle involvement
  • Communicate regularly with clients, field crews, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
  • Support problem-solving efforts when issues arise in the field
  • Prepare progress reports and assist in project closeout procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction or roofing (project coordination/management experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management software preferred
  • BlueBeam Experience
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and construction safety practices
