Qualifications
- PhD completed or near completion in applied physics or closely related field.
- Deep mastery of classical mechanics, electrodynamics, statistical mechanics, and quantum mechanics.
- Ability to clearly explain complex physical phenomena and derivations.
- Attention to detail in units, notation, and logical flow of proofs.
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required.
Responsibilities
- Design PhD-level problems requiring multi-step reasoning and derivations.
- Author ground-truth, step-by-step solutions with precise units and conversions.
- Audit AI reasoning for physical consistency and identify non-physical outcomes.
- Provide expert feedback to refine model behaviour on boundary conditions and conservation laws.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
