Job summary

Xist4 IT Limited is seeking an Android Software Engineer to own and maintain a production Android application in Kotlin, using Coroutines and Flow, with REST or gRPC APIs and data flowing between client and backend.

You will integrate AI features via LLM, vision or speech APIs, design mobile behaviour for streaming responses, retries and partial results, and profile performance to keep the app responsive under slower AI interactions.

Qualifications

• Production Android apps built in Kotlin.
• Coroutines or Flow used in a production Android application.
• AI features you have built on mobile using LLM, vision or speech APIs.
• REST or gRPC integrations you have built yourself.
• Performance or memory issues you have profiled and improved.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a production Android application in Kotlin with Coroutines/Flow.
• Integrate AI features using LLM, vision or speech APIs and design mobile behaviour for streaming and retries.
• Profile responsiveness, memory usage and CPU-heavy flows to keep the app smooth.
• Own analytics, logging and production debugging, including security and stability.
