Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments of operational procedures, facilities, and aircraft.
• Investigate safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor adherence to all applicable aviation regulations, including those set by local authorities (e.g., SACAA) and international bodies (e.g., ICAO).
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees across various departments.
• Maintain comprehensive safety records and documentation.
• Prepare reports on safety performance, compliance status, and audit findings for management.
• Stay updated on changes in aviation safety regulations and best practices.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in aviation safety or quality management are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety, compliance, or quality assurance roles.
