Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. We are seeking experienced English writers to help train AI models through reading, writing, and evaluating text responses.

This freelance, remote opportunity offers flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.

Responsibilities include:

• Reading English texts to rank AI responses
• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-generated text

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Professional writing or editing experience
• Enrolled in or completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in a writing-related discipline
• Excellent writing style, spelling, grammar, and reasoning skills
• Attention to detail and ability to evaluate text critically

Compensation:

• US: $15 to $35 USD per hour
• UK: up to £11 to £27 GBP per hour
• Rates vary based on expertise, location, and project needs. Higher rates may be available for PhDs or specialized skills.
