About The Opportunity
  • Outlier seeks talented writers fluent in English to assist in training generative AI models.
  • This freelance, reading and writing-intensive opportunity is remote with flexible hours.
Your Contributions May Include:
  • Reading English texts to rank AI-generated responses.
  • Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, involving research and fact-checking.
  • Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced texts.
Desirable Expertise:
  • Experience as a professional writer or editor.
  • Enrolled in or completed an associate degree or higher in a writing-related field.
  • Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, and good reasoning skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of texts.
Payment Details:
  • Average rate for core project work in the US: USD $15/hour.
  • UK: Up to £11/hr.
  • Canada: Up to $20 CAD/hr.
  • Rates vary based on expertise, location, and project specifics.
