About The Opportunity

• Outlier seeks talented English writers to help train generative AI models.
• This remote, reading and writing-intensive freelance role offers flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.

Your Contributions May Include:

• Ranking AI-generated responses by reading English texts.
• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced texts.

Desired Expertise

• Professional writing or editing experience.
• Enrolled in or completed at least an associate degree in a writing-related field.
• Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, and good reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to clearly articulate strengths and weaknesses of texts.

Payment

• Average pay in the US: USD $15/hour.
• UK: Up to £11/hr.
• Canada: Up to $20 CAD/hr.
• Rates vary based on expertise, location, project needs, and other factors.
