Nexus Semiconductor is seeking a hands-on, full-stack engineer to help take our AI-native recruitment software to market. You’ll own features end-to-end, from database to deployment, using TypeScript, React and Node.js, with AWS infrastructure as code via Terraform.

You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, test and deploy changes, and ensure security and reliability as we onboard external customers. This is a UK-hours role with fully remote flexibility.

Competenze

• 3-5 years' experience as a full-stack or backend-focused engineer.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Strong TypeScript, Node.js and React.
• Production experience on AWS: ECS, RDS, S3 and IAM.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Docker.
• Daily use of AI coding tools.
• Strong testing and debugging habits.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Able to work UK hours on a late shift, with a reliable home internet setup.

Mansioni

• Build new features across recruitment tools in TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Build and run our AWS environment as code with Terraform.
• Run deployments through GitHub Actions with staging and automated checks.
• Review and test code written with AI tools and catch errors they miss.
• Keep customer data separate and secure (multi-tenancy, RLS, access controls).
• Manage database migrations, backups and restore tests.
• Build integrations with Microsoft 365, Google, email, calendars and third-party APIs.
• Fix live issues and provide code-level support to users and customers.
