Job summary

Harnham is seeking a product-minded engineer to shape the AI foundations of their modern SaaS platform. This fully remote role in the UK offers a salary range of £95,000 to £130,000 plus stock options. The engineer will take ownership of AI and platform capabilities, designing workflows and developing reliable AI systems.

Successful candidates will have experience building AI features for production environments and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a full stack or backend focused engineer.
• Hands on experience building agentic AI systems using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Experience shipping AI powered features into production environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Comfortable working in evolving codebases.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of AI and platform capabilities across the product.
• Design and build agentic AI workflows for large, structured content sets.
• Develop reliable AI systems for UI and design changes.
• Build and maintain retrieval frameworks for LLM powered features.
• Influence cloud architecture within an AWS environment.
• Establish best practices for observability and responsible AI development.

Skills

Commercial experience as a full stack or backend engineer

Experience building agentic AI systems

Shipping AI powered features to production

Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS)

Experience with Ruby on Rails or Node.js
