Job summary

Outlier invites detail-oriented English speakers to join as freelance reviewers for AI training tasks. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain errors in writing, all remotely and on your own schedule.

You’ll review AI-generated media, compare images and videos, and rate outputs across adherence, quality and realism. This independent contractor role offers weekly payments, flexible hours, and opportunities to work on multiple projects from home.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay/zoom to verify issues.
• Ability to reason aloud and explain judgments clearly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making decisions when multiple options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs for issues (distortion, motion, text errors, audio mismatch).
• Write explanations in English pointing to observed problems and reasoning.
