Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a remote, flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, rank outputs, and explain findings in writing to help improve AI systems.

The role is freelance/independent contractor with pay up to USD 15 per hour, weekly payments, and additional incentive opportunities. Applicants from the UK are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Able to discuss realistic scenarios naturally and conversationally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when options both have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot distortions, flickering, text errors, or mismatches.
• Write specific explanations in English pointing to what was seen or heard.
