Job summary

Outlier, an AI training platform by Scale AI, is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, rate responses, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Common tasks include evaluating images and videos, caption labeling, and rating adherence, quality, and realism. This remote, freelance role pays per hour with additional incentives and weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to review closely.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and speaking in natural conversations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which better follows prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely, zoom in, replay, and spot problems like distortions or mismatches.
• Write a specific explanation in English of what you saw or heard, rating adherence, quality, and realism.
