Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a principled AI Ethics Officer to join its fully remote team. You will develop and implement policies and frameworks to ensure responsible AI development and deployment, working with legal, engineering and product teams to navigate ethical challenges and mitigate risks.

You will stay informed about regulatory developments, provide training across the organization, and advise on data usage and privacy implications, helping embed ethical practices throughout the AI

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Law, Philosophy, Ethics, CS, or related field.
• Proven experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and AI technologies.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex ethical principles into practical guidance.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ethical guidelines and frameworks for AI development and deployment.
• Assess AI systems for potential ethical risks, bias, and fairness issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ethical considerations into the AI lifecycle.
