Relief International seeks an AI and Digital Transformation Advisor to shape and execute the organization’s AI strategy on a remote, 12-month basis for colleagues across the UK and other Relief International countries.

The role is a strategic advisory position, working with senior leaders to identify opportunities, develop roadmaps and ensure responsible AI adoption and governance across departments.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting AI adoption, digital transformation or technology-enabled improvement initiatives within a complex organization.
• Strong practical understanding of generative AI technologies and their real-world applications, including tools such as Microsoft Copilot and similar AI platforms.
• Experience translating business or organizational needs into practical technology solutions and measurable improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and continuous evolution of Relief International's AI and digital transformation strategy, translating organizational priorities into a practical roadmap of initiatives and opportunities.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities where AI and digital tools can improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality, knowledge management and decision-making across departments and country programmes.
• Coordinate and oversee a portfolio of AI initiatives, ensuring clear objectives, ownership, milestones and measures of success while maintaining responsibility within individual departments.
• Support senior leaders and functional teams in developing business cases for AI adoption, tracking technology investments, licensing costs and demonstrating organizational value and return on investment.
• Develop and implement organization-wide approaches to AI adoption, change management and capability building, helping staff confidently and responsibly use AI in their day-to-day work.
• Design and deliver practical training, guidance materials, tools and learning resources that make AI accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with cybersecurity, information security, data protection and governance requirements.
• Promote the responsible use of AI, including appropriate human oversight, data privacy, transparency, accuracy and awareness of bias and limitations.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen organizational learning and knowledge management, including the use of AI-enabled approaches to make institutional knowledge more accessible and useful.
• Manage and support the AI and Knowledge Management Intern, providing direction, mentorship and quality assurance.
