Job Description:

SYNOPSIS

You will be part of Emocien’s Advisory Committee, contributing to policies, procedures, and practices to promote inclusion and safeguarding.

ROLE

You will work online and remotely for 16 hours annually at $50.00 per hour. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting into Emocien’s policies and procedures;
  • Attending Advisory Committee meetings and participating constructively;
  • Building and enhancing Emocien’s Resource Centre;
  • Writing posts and blogs to educate Members about mental health issues and management strategies.

You should have relevant experience, particularly in resource identification, participating in management meetings, and engaging on social media.

QUALIFICATIONS

You will be an expert in a common mental health issue, either as a qualified clinician or through lived experience. Emocien values both expertise types.

You need the skills and experience to perform effectively, including similar experience from other roles. It’s important to act within your area of expertise and collaborate constructively with colleagues and Members.
