Job Description:

SYNOPSIS

You will be part of Emocien’s Advisory Committee, contributing to policies, procedures, and practices to promote inclusion and safeguarding.

ROLE

You will work online and remotely, approximately 16 hours per year, at a rate of £50.00 per hour. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting into Emocien’s policies and procedures;
  • Attending Advisory Committee meetings and participating constructively;
  • Building and improving Emocien’s Resource Centre;
  • Writing posts and blogs to educate Members about mental health issues and management strategies.

Applicants should have relevant experience, especially in resource identification, participating in management meetings, and engaging on social media.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should be experts in common mental health issues, either as qualified clinicians or through lived experience. Emocien values both types of expertise.

Necessary skills include the ability to perform the role effectively, maintain focus within your area of expertise, and collaborate constructively with colleagues and Members.
