Job summary

Crimson Education is seeking a Science, Innovation & Technology Academic Consultant to join OSS. The role provides expert academic input into the OSS Science, Innovation & Technology Stream, focusing on Maths, Physics, Engineering and Computer Science, and supports content development and assessment to ensure pre-university standards.

Location: Fully remote. Outside programme dates up to 10 hours/week; during programmes up to 30 hours total, mainly for essay assessment and feedback.

Qualifications

• A Master’s level degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• Deep subject knowledge in at least one stream area with broad grasp of adjacent areas.
• Excellent written communication with ability to give detailed, constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert academic input into the OSS Science, Innovation & Technology Stream content and assessment.
• Assess student essays and provide detailed, individualised feedback.
• Support the Academic Curriculum Manager and Head of Programme in maintaining high academic standards.
• Contribute to stream-specific assessment criteria and feedback guidelines.
