Job summary

LessonWise is seeking language tutors to deliver 1:1 online lessons to GCSE/A-Level prep students or beginners from across the UK. This flexible, remote role suits tutors who love languages and want to inspire learners.

You can teach any language you are fluent in; DBS checks are preferred (ENHANCED DBS or DBS within 6 months). The role offers fully remote work with flexible scheduling and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in the language you teach.
• GCSE/A-Level teaching or exam knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and passion for teaching languages.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 online lessons tailored to the student’s level, goals, and learning style.
• Support students preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, or those learning the basics of a new language.
• Teach core language skills including speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar.
• Build students' confidence and fluency through consistent practice and constructive feedback.
• Adapt lesson plans and materials to meet individual learning needs and objectives.
