Job summary

LessonWise is seeking language tutors to deliver 1:1 online lessons to GCSE/A-Level prep students or beginners from across the UK. This flexible, remote role suits tutors who love languages and want to inspire learners.

You can teach any language you are fluent in; DBS checks are preferred (ENHANCED DBS or DBS within 6 months). The role offers fully remote work with flexible scheduling and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in the language you teach.
• GCSE/A-Level teaching or exam knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and passion for teaching languages.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:
We are seeking passionate language tutors to deliver 1:1 online lessons to students who are either preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, or who are beginners starting a new language. Whether you're a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or a fluent speaker with a strong grasp of grammar and communication skills, we want to hear from you. This is a flexible, remote role ideal for professionals with a love for language and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging 1:1 online lessons tailored to the student’s level, goals, and learning style.
• Support students preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, or those learning the basics of a new language.

Requirements:

• Fluent speaker of the language you wish to teach.
• GCSE/A-Level teaching experience or exam knowledge is a plus but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching languages.
• Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or language exchange preferred.
• A current ENHANCED DBS that is registered to the update service or a DBS no older than 6 months.
• Proficient in online teaching tools with a reliable internet connection.
• Flexible availability to conduct remote lessons.
