Job summary

A top online learning platform is looking for an English Second Language Teacher to provide personalized 1:1 online instruction to ESL students located in Singapore and Hong Kong. This part-time role permits flexible scheduling, with a pay rate of $20 USD per class. Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in K-12 ELA. Retraining a professional demeanor and being patient, reliable, and enthusiastic are essential for flourishing in this position.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Available between 8-2 PM GMT on weekdays or 5 AM - 2 PM GMT on weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for each student.
• Attend all classes on time and act professionally.
• Communicate effectively with Cosmo staff.
