Cosmo 1:1 is an online learning platform that connects K‑12 students in the US, Canada, and Asia with tutors from top universities and colleges for personalized lessons. As an English Second Language (ESL) Teacher, you will deliver 1‑on‑1 lessons to students based in Singapore and Hong Kong, using the Cosmo curriculum. Location: Worcestershire, England, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
• Experience teaching ESL learners
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 8 – 2 PM GMT Monday‑Friday or 5 AM – 2 PM GMT weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability weekly
• Access to a private and quiet location
• Currently located in the UK
• Passion for helping students learn; approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, reliable
