Remote 1:1 ESL Tutor - Flexible GMT Hours

Job summary

Cosmo is seeking independent contractors to serve as tutors for K-12 ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. Tutors will provide 50-minute personalized lessons, set their flexible schedules, and ensure students feel comfortable and engaged. Key requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, and the ability to work at least 20 hours weekly between specified hours. Competitive pay at $20 per class plus additional incentives is offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners is preferred.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional manner.
