Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced educators for online tutoring roles, focusing on ESL students from Singapore and Hong Kong. Tutors will provide personalized lessons and require a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in K-12 education, ideally with ESL experience. Flexible scheduling is provided, with compensation at $20 per class plus incentives. Ideal candidates will be patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic, and must maintain a minimum of 20 hours weekly availability.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Available at required times (8 AM - 2 PM GMT or 5 AM - 2 PM GMT).
• Access to a private and quiet location.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Attend all classes on time.
