Remediations Executive - Mortgages (Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (depending On Experience)
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Duration: 7 Month Fixed Term Contract
Starting: May 2025

What You'll Be Doing:

You will be responsible for handling cases of mortgage remediation, managing customer service queries for both closed and live accounts, active complaint management/dispute resolution, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

More Specifically, You'll:

• Communicate directly with borrowers to explain findings and/or discuss remediation options
• Process remediation payments and adjustments in loan servicing systems
• General customer service and First Point of Contact complaint management
• Undertake administrative tasks; processing activities such as debtor tracing, returned mail, and workflow management
• Provide support and assistance in other areas of loan/remediation servicing as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience in Customer Service, Mortgage Servicing, Compliance, or a related financial field
• Reasonable understanding of mortgage industry regulations
• Proficient in, and familiar with loan servicing / claim management databases and software / remediation processing tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle vulnerable customers
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
